Safat Aviation Group exhibits at African Aerospace and Defense Exhibition 2016
Safat Aviation Group from Sudan participates in African Aerospace and Defense from 14 to 18 September 2016 in south Africa. The Sudanese company also showcases the Safat 02 helicopter and the Safat 03 aircraft.

SAFAT is Sudan’s premier aircraft manufacturing and maintenance complex and one of the country’s busiest organizations. From its early beginnings in 2004, the company has been known for high quality products, service and technical innovation. In 2006, SAFAT received its first aircrafts for overhauling and maintenance.

SAFAT has continued to play a leading role in aircraft maintenance and services in Sudan. The SAFAT Aviation Complex [SAC] is located in, 20km north of the Capital, Khartoum.

The Safat 02 is a light multi-purpose helicopter based on the Ukrainian Aerokopter AK 1-3 and assembled in Sudan. This helicopter has a 2.5-liter Subaru EJ-25 engine that runs on automobile gasoline.

SAFAT03 is light aircraft for basic pilot training, glider tow and proficiency flight. It is completely metal aircraft with two seats, low wing aircraft with seats one along second, tricycle with fixed landing gears, with contemporary pilotage’s, navigation’s and communication’s equipments.
