"The Robot based on the FEDOR [Final Experimental Demonstration Object Research] platform has shown its ambidextrous firing capability. Combat robots are a key to the development of smart hardware. This concerns the aviation and space industry as well," the deputy prime minister said.

According to Rogozin, firing practice has allowed us to train the robot "to prioritize targets rapidly and make decisions." The FEDOR robot has been developed by the Android Systems Company and the Advanced Research Foundation on order of the Emergencies Ministry.

Initially, the robot was designated as Avatar. Recently, it has been named FEDOR (Final Experimental Demonstration Object Research). In 2021, it is expected to become the sole passenger of the advanced Federation spacecraft during its first flight.
