The equipment includes an upgraded PP-2005M pontoon bridge kit, an upgraded TMM-3M2 heavy mechanized bridge, a PBU-100 mobile drilling rig, a VMLK-1 mobile sawmill, an ED-30AI power engineering station, as well as seasonal camouflage costumes, a motor boat navigation simulator and a multifunctional sapper shovel, he added.

All these new military engineer equipment were presented for the first time during Army-2016, the International Military Technical Forum which was held in the Patriotic Park near Moscow in September 2016.

The PP-2005 pontoon bridge is based on the KAMAZ-63501 military truck. The pontoon park on the KAMAZ-63501 vehicle chassis is fitted with the reliable two-drum winch with the enlarged traction force that essentially reduces the time of loading the interior bays.

An interior bay of the PP-2005 pontoon park is made instead of the interior bays of the PMP and PMP M pontoon-bridge parks with the swivel cowl located on the extreme pontoon of the bay, which makes it possible to assemble the bridges and ferries of double and one-and-half width with the enlarged cargo lifting capacity and improved stability in the water current.
