On January 1st 2018, Army Recognition will become Company Army Recognition Group SPRL (Société Privée à Responsabilité Limitée - the equivalent in Belgian law of a Limited Liability Company).

Army Recognition Group LLC is now five Company websites

This strategical decision is the consequence of the constant growth and recent successes of Army Recognition Group. The Group includes five websites: Army Recognition, Navy Recognition, Air Recognition , WorldArmyPictures and the DefenseWebTV video channel.

The Army Recognition adventure began in 1999 when its founder Alain Servaes created a forum dedicated to military and defense equipment. His goal was to create a free digital platform gathering technical information and the latest Defense and Security news. And this approach has been successful. The forum became a website. In 2009, Army Recognition was appointed Official Online Show Daily by the organizers of a Defense Exhibition for the first time. In 2012. Navy Recognition and Air Recognition have been launched and also met success.

Today, Army Recognition is one of the most popular online magazine specialized in Defense and Security, with 2.2 million unique visitors in 2017 and reader from 130 countries in the world. The company counts 14 employees and will cover most of the defense exhibition worldwide (more than 40 shows in 2018).
