Ukraine armed forces have received 100 armored vehicle and tanks, including BTR-4E 8x8 armoured vehicle personnel carrier, T-64BM Bulat main battle tank, 2S1 122mm self-propelled howitzer, T-64BV main battle tank, T-72UA1 main battle tank and BTR-3E1U 8x8 armoured infantry fighting vehicle.

 Successful second phase tests for German Bundeswehr's future Tetra LTE mobile radio system
 
The mobile Tetra LTE (terrestrial trunked radio Long Term Evolution) system from Airbus Defence and Space, jointly developed with Alcatel-Lucent, has passed further functional tests as a part of the highly mobile cellular networks study, HochZeN (Hochmobile Zellulare Netzwerke), conducted by the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr).

 Lithuania to increase defense spending by 32% in 2015 
 
Defence allocations to the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence total EUR 425 m, or 1.11 pct of GDP, in the 2015 State and Municipal Budget of Lithuania approved by the Lithuanian Seimas, which is by 32 pct more funds for defence than in 2014. Moreover, the Defense Minister has also announced the enhancement its defence capacity and replenishment of ammunition reserve of the Lithuanian Armed Forces.

BAE Systems delivers new CV90 MultiC multipurpose armored vehicle to Norwegian Armed Forces
 
The third CV90 variant, a Multicarrier vehicle – which is known as the MultiC in Norway - was delivered to the Norwegian customer last week, in accordance with the agreed contractual schedule. Earlier this year, the first of the second variant, the engineering vehicle (STING), was handed over to the customer at BAE Systems’ Hägglunds facilities in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, again on time and on budget.

Arms contracts totalling almost R23 billion ($2bn) were authorised by South Africa during the third quarter of this year, according to the South African National Conventional Arms Control Committee (NCACC). In its third quarterly report, which covers the period July 1 to September 30, it says the "total value of contracts authorised" is R22,992,117,979 ($2,06bn).

New S-300PMU surface-to-air missile systems delivered to Russian troops in Crimea
 
Russian military forces in Crimea have received new S-300PMU surface-to-air missile systems to protect the peninsula’s airspace, a Black Sea military source told RIA Novosti on Wednesday. “With the appearance of the S-300PMU complexes, it can be said with confidence that a full-fledged missile shield has been created on the peninsula that is capable of providing for the security of the Black Sea Fleet [from threats] from the air,” the source said.

The system has been designed to defend and protect the nation's assets from penetrating aerial attacks. The Akash missile can fly at supersonic speed.
