The candidates for work at the enterprise in high-tech jobs will be down-selected at the Kirov employment center. "Under the "Aiding the Kirov region population employment" program it is planned to organize an advanced free training and practice of 54 citizens for work at the enterprise," the press service specified.

It also noted that in all it is planned to create 380 jobs at the new missile manufacturing plant.

"The plant faces the task of achieving the designed production capacity and establishing the new production processes. To build a team of skilled specialists it is now necessary to train the personnel of the required qualifications," the Kirov region’s employment department pointed out.

The Kirov Machine Building Plant is a new enterprise being created in Kirov by the Almaz-Antey Concern for production of modern aerospace defense systems. The construction began in 2012. The commissioning is to take place before the end of the year. The plant is being created for production of the latest anti-air and anti-missile systems, including advanced air defense missile weapons like S-400 and S-500. The investments amounted to 16 billion rubles ($207 milion).

The Almaz-Antey VKO Concern unites 46 enterprises engaged in development and production of short-, medium- and long-range air defense weapons, and main types of radar reconnaissance and automatic control systems.
