Shladot has been serving the defense sector for over 40 years. With extensive compentencies in engineering, design, mechanical fabrications and systems integration Shadlot delivers solutions for the military sectors: armored vehicles, command and control shelters and trailers.

The David is a battle-proven light, survivable, armored and cost-effective vehicle that seats up to 8 people. The David armored vehicle is based on the Toyota Hilux. This commercial chassis offers many advantages: versatility, robustness and maintenance costs.

The David has been in service in combat conditions for over 10 years. Hundreds have been fielded by the Israelian Defense Forces (IDF), with daily combat activity, the David has had many occaions to prove its qualities on the field.

The David is available in several configurations and in 3,4 or 5 doors versions. The vehicle can be armoured up to Stanag level II. Depending on the protection level, configuration and equipment; the David has a gross weight of up to 4,5 tons. Remote Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS) equipped with machine guns (7.62 or 12.7 mm) can be mounted on the roof of the David.
