Techmash presents wide range of munitions at Defense and Security 2017 Thailand show


The Techmash Concern of Rostec State Corporation will display air bombs and antitank grenades at the International Asian exhibition and conference Defense&Security-2017 to be held on November 6-9 in Bangkok, Thailand, the press service of the company said.

"Participation in Defense&Security is our new step to enhance positions on the global arms market. Techmash delegation will actively participate in the business program of the event and plans negotiations with representatives of Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia to discuss operating contracts and perspective cooperation guidelines," said Techmash Director General Vladimir Lepin.

Key exhibits of the company include jet antitank grenade RPG-30 with a disposable launcher designated to destroy modern and perspective tanks also protected by active and reactive armor, as well as other armored and unarmored targets.

Another exhibit of antitank weapons is the RPG-26 grenade which is distinguished by a small weight of 2.9kg and high combat efficiency. It is designated to destroy tanks and other armored and unarmored hardware.

Techmash will also present a wide range of munitions for tank, field and naval artillery. Specific attention is caused by 125mm ammunition set for modern T-72 and T-90 tanks which Thailand is interested in. Foreign delegations from Southeast Asia may also be interested in 100mm high-explosive and fragmentation ZUOF17 shell for BMP-3 vehicles which are widely operational in regional countries.

The display will also feature naval munitions of warships armed with AK-100 and AK-130 artillery guns, as well as field shells for self-propelled artillery gun Msta-S and towed howitzer Msta-B.
