DX Korea 2018: Hanwha Systems IFF Mode 5 for ROK Military.

Hanwha Systems is showcasing its IFF Mode 5 at the DX Korea 2018 defense exhibiton which opened its doors today at the Kintex exhibition center in Seoul, South Korea. Hanwha Systems provides Mode5 IFF that is an upgraded version of Mode 4 used in Korean Military. Mode 5 Identification, friend or foe (IFF) is an identification system designed for command and control. It enables military and civilian air traffic control interrogation systems to identify aircraft, vehicles or forces as friendly and to determine their bearing and range from the interrogator with stronger authentication method than the conventional method.
