The IAG Jaws is built on heavy truck chassis, motorized with a powerful turbocharged Diesel engine and intelligent all-wheel drive system (AWD) which able the vehicle to run at a maximum speed of 158 km/h.

The JAWS 4x4 APC is based on a commercial vehicle platform Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and provides high mobility with the capability of add-on armor to further enhance ballistic and blast protection. The JAWS can be used also as Border Patrol Vehicle.

The JAWS is fully protected with armour certified CEN B6/NIJ III Level ballistic material, including front, sides, rear, roof and floor, designed to resist incoming ballistic threats from any angle. Driver and troop's compartment are fully protected against explosive threats. In option, the JAWS can be fitted with add-on armour to provide additional multi-hit protection of passenger compartment up to CEN B7 / NIJ IV levels.

The front side of the crew compartment is fitted with two large bullet-proof windows which provide optimal visibility of external environment with same level of ballistic protection as the other parts of the vehicle. Three small windows are mounted on each side of the hull with firing-ports at the bottom.

The JAWS can carry a total of 10 soldiers including driver and commander. All seats are equipped with four-point seat harnesses. The seats are also designed to protect the crew against intense forces of an explosion. Blast attenuation and mitigation technology minimizes the shockwave and downward forces imposed on the occupants.

The top of the hull is fitted with a single hatch which can be fitted with an open-top turret armed with a 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine gun.

In addition to low profile light armored vehicles, IAG offers a wide range of armored personnel carriers (APCs) based on various truck chassis. The APCs all integrate a V-hull design and are designed to fill the gap between the much more expensive and heavy MRAPs and the low profile, light armored commercial vehicles

Thousands of vehicles currently bear the IAG logo and operate in some of the most hostile environments in the world. Each vehicle is a testament to the class leading quality that IAG’s clients have come to expect over the years. IAG past and current clients include the US Military, NATO, and various government and non-government organizations.
