The BOXER is 8x8 armoured combat vehicle produced by ARTEC GmbH (ARmoured vehicle TEChnology) industrial group. The BOXER is in service with the German and Dutch Army.

This 155mm/ 52 calibre ordnance is also mounted on the combat-proven tracked self-propelled howitzer PzH 2000 currently in service with the German army and other NATO countries.

The Artillery Gun Module is a fully automated, unmanned and remote controlled artillery system. The module is a further development of the battle proven PzH 2000.

The AGM not only provides the firepower and high level of automation of the PzH 2000, it is also possible to integrate the turret on any suitable, available military vehicle. Such integration can not only be done on tracked vehicles, also a wheeled version is now available, which forms a mobile long-range, 155 mm L52 tube artillery system on wheels.

The AGM is equipped with an electrically powered and computer controlled automatic projectile handling system for loading and unloading the magazine as well as loading the gun from the magazine. The system is complemented by a newly developed fully automated loading device for the modular charges. The automatic projectile handling system is designed to operate while loading and firing within the entire gun/turret control range.

The AGM can carry a total of 30 155mm projectiles and 145 modular charges. The AGM is controlled by a crew of 2, commander and driver and the vehicle can be ready to fire and leave its firing position in less than 30 seconds with a maximum range of fire of 40 km.
