Czech Company T-CZ presents its multirole deployable defence 3D radar at IDET 2015.
T-CZ is a Czech company involved in the field of development, production and installation of airport surveillance and landing Radar Systems. At IDET 2015, T-CZ presents its multirole 3D deployable defence radar system which includes a complete set of PSR and MSSR/IFF radar subsystems utilized as air surveillance sensor with supporting of low-flying targets detection. The system enables to detect/control air movements inside large area up to distance 80/250 NM.

Complete multirole defence radar system consists of two separate units - Antenna unit integrating both antennas into one mechanical assembly and Command and Control shelter for operators. All radar subsystems have redundant structure in order to increase whole radar system reliability enabling unmanned radar operation. Large detection range for targets with small RSC value and height detection as well are enabled through unique design of planar phase array antenna generating a set of synthetic radiation beams. Radar data transmission in IP format to remote Control shelter or another command post is performed via data link.

PSR subsystem operating in S-Band is designed round new phase arrays antenna mounted on ISO stabilization and transport frame. Planar antenna consists of 32 rows, each one is completed through Tx/Rx assembly. All control and processing electronic blocks are built-in into isothermal cabinets located on stabilization frame. Solid state Tx/Rx modules are equipped with liquid cooling enabling to decrease module dimensions. Powerful processing of PSR/MSSR radar signals is ensured through utilization of dual signal processor for primary and secondary targets having big processing capacity.
Unique solution is applied through integration of MSSR LVA antenna into PSR antenna structure, offering big advantages in form of smaller antenna dimensions and homogeneity solution as well The possibility of quick frequency change-over combined with low level antenna side lobes ensure effective ECM/ECCM features.

Currently used long range MSSR/IFF subsystem with S mode is L-Band secondary radar system designed for air movements detection far beyond the airport terminal area up to distance of 250 NM Three-channels LVA MSSR/IFF antenna is integrated into PSR antenna assembly. Complete utilized solid state technology and dual structure solution ensures high figure of MSSR/IFF subsystem reliability. Alternative version of MSSR/IFF subsystem can be also implemented.

Output radar data from Antenna Unit are transmitted to Control Unit shelter via data link. This ISO shelter contains two display consoles for radar operators and the terminal of Radar Control and Monitoring System. VHF/UHF radio sets and large capacity Record/Replay device for radar/voice data are also a part of shelter electronics. The Control shelter equipment is completed by effective air conditioning and filtration aggregates.
