EVPU from Slovakia presents new GLADIUS DUAL two weapons remotely operated weapon station.
The Slovak Company EVPU presents a new type of remotely operated weapon station at IDET 2017, the International Defense Exhibition in Czech Republic. The Gladius Dual is a new concept of remote weapon station using two light weapons.

The Company EVPU designs and produces remote controlled weapon stations and turrets with optical container and gyroscopic stabilization. The system is remotely controlled and is designed for use on light wheeled/tracked armoured and fighting vehicles.

With the new Galdius Dual, EVPU offers a new generation of remotely operated weapon station which can be easily integrated to new modern combat vehicle or to upgrade fire power of existing fleet of wheeled and tracked armoured vehicles.

At IDET, the GLADIUS Dual is presented with two main weapons, one 12.7mm heavy machine gun and one 7.62mm machine. The turret is also fitted with latest generation of sight including laser range finder, day camera and thermal imager system.

The weight of the weapon station is around 218 kg without gun and ammunition. It has an independent elevation of sight system allows electronic gun rectification and ballistic computation during firing. The EVPU GLADIUS DUAL is fully stabilized and electrically operated and can traverse through 360° with elevation from -20° to +70°.

The laser range finder can work from a range of 100 m to 10,000 m with a range resolution of 5m. The Day Camera uses a colour CCD with optical zoom which has a range of 9,000m for detection, 4,700 m for detection and 2,700 m for identifications. The un-cooled day camera has a detection range of 6,500m, 3,000 for detection and 1,500 m for identification.
