INTRACOM Defense : Successful demonstration of WiSPR to the USMC
Intracom Defense Electronics presented at Eurosatory 2014 one of its best products that have been fielded and used by many customers around the world, with the Greek and the German Armies (on the Leopard 2 and PzH-2000 platforms) being a few of them.

The WiSPR (Wideband Intercom & Secure Packet Radio) which is an intercommunication system, developed in-house by the company in Greece. It provides high quality voice communications, IP networking and the capability of embedded wireless networking, data and video, via the WiSPR-LAN.


The system was recently field demonstrated to the United States Marine Corps in the USA, at the Transportation & Demonstration Support Area of the PEO Land Systems Marine Corps, at Quantico, Va. WiSPR proved its high quality and functionality under real operating conditions, focusing on its superior Dynamic Noise Reduction performance. The latter actively decreases the noise that comes through the microphones, offering high-quality sound.
