RAK police of United Arab Emirates takes delivery of Streit Group Cobra 4x4 armoured vehicles.
The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Interior RAK (Ras Al Khaimah) police general headquarters has take delivery of first Cobra 4x4 armoured vehicle manufactured by the Company Streit Group. This comes in line with the Ministry of Interior’s objectives to provide the highest level of safety for the community.

The Cobra 4x4 armoured vehicle is designed and manufactured by the Defense Company Streit Group.
     

The Cobra vehicle is to be used by the force’s special operations department.

Colonel Yousef bin Yaqoup, head of special operations, said RAK Police was always looking for the latest technology to enhance its capabilities in difficult conditions.

The COBRA is a 4x4 armoured vehicle personnel carrier (APC) designed and manufactured by the Company Streit Group. The Cobra is a versatile APC based on the Toyota land Cruiser 200 series, a combination of ballistic steel monocoque body, mild steel inner floor and under-body blast protection.

The monocoque body, with optimal ballistic resistance and underbody blast protection provides protection against firing of small arms and shell splinters.

The Streit Group Cobra 4x4 APC can be adapted to suit all type of missions with a full range of electrical and weapons equipment.
