Iveco to complete the delivery of LMV light multirole vehicles to Russia
Italy’s Iveco Defence Vehicles Company has confirmed the completion of the delivery of LMV light multirole vehicles to Russia, Head of the Company’s Hardware Development Department Claudio Catalano told TASS at the Eurosatory 2016 defense and security international exhibition.
     
     
"LMV M65 armored vehicles have been fully delivered to Russia. They are undergoing maintenance in accordance with the contracts signed earlier," Catalano said.

According to the department head, Iveco Defence Vehicles Company may resume cooperation with Russia if there are relevant conditions.

It was reported earlier that the Russian Armed Forces would receive 358 LMV M65 armored vehicles that had been designated as Rys.

According to data of public sources, several Rys armored vehicles were used to defend the Russian Aerospace Force’s base in the Syrian province of Latakia.
