The donation has been taken in Uruguay with some apathy, since the armored cars, besides being completely obsolete, are not exactly the same as the M41A1UR that the Cavalry has. In that sense, the Uruguayan armored vehicles received several improvements, including a new Cockerill Mk-IVA1 of 90 mm cannon and a spare part of motor and transmission, whereas its Brazilian pairs, besides the engine, received a modification of the caliber of the original cannon of the 76 Mm to bring it to the standard of 90 mm, which, instead of improving its performance, made them worse.
