KazTechinnovations introduces Model 2E1 Electric Buggy at KADEX 2018


At KADEX 2018, the local defense company KazTechinnovations is presenting for the first time a wide range of new systems. Beside tactical UAVs, the contractor is highlighting a prototype of Special Purpose Electric Buggy.

KazTechinnovations’ Electric Buggy is designed for fast reconnaissance on rough terrain. Its 3kW LiFePo batteries gives it a low noise, low thermal profile. The electric drive is fitted on the rear axle. 

According to the company, this ultra-light vehicle is perfectly tailored for reconnaissance, border patrol, special operations, as well as dawn raids in ennemy territory. 

Temporarely named “2E1”, this 4x2 vehicle has a weight of only 120 kg and a load capacity of about 700 kg thanks to its rear trunk. It features a maximum speed of 50 km/h within an operational range of 50 km.

The vehicle is fully adapted to Kazakhstan’s harsh weather conditions, and can be operated in temperatures ranging from – 40 to +50°C.

The “2E1” Buggy is 3.2 m long, 1.66 width and 1.71 high.
