Iraq confirms the purchase of Russian-made helicopters and air defence systems for next summer
 

By next summer, Russia will supply Iraq with helicopters and anti-aircraft batteries, has indicated, the Iraqi Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari. "I think the first deliveries of Russian weapons in Iraq will take place no later than the summer. The main equipment are helicopters and air defense batteries," said the diplomat in Iraq during an interview with the Voice of Russia.

Patria to deliver first Patria AMV 8x8 armoured personnel carrier to Swedish armed forces
 

Patria delivered the first Patria AMV armoured wheeled vehicles to the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). This was the first delivery of altogether 113 Patria AMV armoured wheeled vehicles to the Swedish Defence Forces, based on the agreement signed with FMV in 2010. The total value of the contract is approximately EUR 250 millions.

Vietnam and Russian defense ministers met in Vietnam's capital Hanoi on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, to discuss measures to lift bilateral defense ties to a new height.
