Philippine Army has confirmed the purchase of 63,000 M-4 assault rifles
 

The Philippine Army (PA) confirmed Tuesday, March 18, 2014, the acquisition of 63,000 brand-new automatic assault rifles which will be delivered and issued in several batches this year. Lt. Col. Noel Detoyato, Army spokesperson, said that these new rifles are the M-4 which is worth P38,402 each. The entire order is estimated to be worth P2.4 billion.

New Ukraine government asks military assistance to United States outside the NATO area
 

The U.S. is considering sending ground troops to the Baltic states on new military exercises as it seeks to reassure Nato allies in eastern Europe. After the summer trials, the new Indian-made 155mm artillery howitzer Dhanush would be ready for use by the Indian Army by the end of this year. Ordnance Factories Board (OFB) of India presents the latest prototype of its 155mm 45 calibre Dhanush towed howitzer at Defexpo 2014, the International Defense Exhibition that was held from the 6 to 9 Februray, this year, in New Delhi, India.
