New Command and Control Armored Vehicle unveiled by Ukroboronprom 640 001

The Ukrainian Mykolaiv Armored factory presented an updated armored C2 vehicle. The BTR-7DI-02 ‘Svityaz’ is intended to provide command, control and communication in operational-tactical level. It is based on a BTR-70 platform. Engineers of Mykolayiv Armored factory had already created an ambulance, based on BTR-70. It can get out from battlefield up to to 11 wounded people.

The missile’s dummy warhead hit its target at the Sary Shagan range in Kazakhstan just minutes after takeoff from the Kapustin Yar rocket launch and development site in the southern Astrakhan region on March 18, Kommersant newspaper reported Thursday March 26, citing a Defense Ministry source in Moscow.
