Russia Central Military District reconnaissance units are getting equipped with 1P63 collimator sights
Small arms mounted collimator sights 1P63 manufactured by Novosibirsk instrument engineering factory, were commissioned to the Central MD reconnaissance units located in Siberia. The 1P63 is designed for aiming and efficient firing different AK assault rifle modifications and a light machine gun at any time of day or night.

The sight is easy to use, which gives the reconnaissance men the opportunity to use it in the maneuver battle. The collimator sights are getting delivered to troops as a part of the State Defense Procurement. Their employment will increase combat capabilities of the Central Military District reconnaissance units.

The collimator sight for small arms 1P63 is intended for aimed fire in daylight, twilight conditions and at night at the illuminating targets from the weapon with side mounting seat for the sight setting. The aiming is carried out with the help of reticle aiming mark, the image of which is found in infinity. The sight provides the aimed fire at the distance of direct shot at the visible fixed and moving targets. The sight is used within the ambient temperature range from -50°c and relative humidity up ton 100% at +25°c.
