"We have made and supplied most of the manufacturing equipment and have completed the training of Indian personnel. Now, Tekhmash’s workers and their Indian counterparts are installing and setting up the manufacturing lines," Rusakov said. He noted that the Mango armor-piercing discarding sabot (APDS) round was among the cutting-edge types of ammunition in demand in other countries as well.

"Tekhmash has been exporting the round to several customers," the director general added. Russian official arms exporter Rosoboronexport snagged the contract for the technology transfer of the Mango APDS round to India in 2014.

The T-90S is an enhanced version of T-90 Main Battle Tank (MBT) to meet the operational requirements of countries in Asia. The T-90S is used by India. It is manufactured by Nizhnyi Tagil of the Russian Federation. The T-90S is in service with the Russian and the Indian Army. It's also the export version of the T-90.
