South Korean Company Doosan delivers Tarantula 6x6 armoured vehicles to Indonesia.
South Korea's Doosan DST announced completion of production of the 6x6 armored combat vehicle Black Fox for the Indonesian Army. The 6X6 carries a crew of three, weighs 18 tons, has a maximum ground speed of about 95 km/h and a speed of nearly 8 km/h in water. Armaments include a 90mm gun and a 7.62mm machine gun.

The vehicle has been named the Tarantula by the Indonesians.

"The heavy armored wheeled vehicles that will be exported have been manufactured tailored to the Indonesian terrain and thus is lighter and can be operated in the water," the South Korean company said.

"Also, by arming these vehicles with a 90mm main gun and a 7.62mm machine gun, these vehicles possess the fire power capable of attacking dense enemy units as well as enemy tanks. At the same time, they are known as combat armored vehicles that can be operated for guerrilla search-and-destroy operations.
