Elbit Systems awarded contracts for Radio and Communication Systems to a European Country
Elbit Systems announced on May 24 that it was awarded contracts from a European country, for the supply of advanced tactical communications systems, for a total amount of an approximately $40 million. The contracts will be performed over a one-year period.

The Communication systems include the CNR9000HDR tactical IP radio for medium and long range communication, THF 8000 for over the horizon very long range communication, both in vehicular and man pack configurations, and the PNR-1000 soldier IP radio from Elbit systems new E-Lynx family of mobile networking radios. Additionally, Elbit Systems will provide Digital Intercom Systems for combat vehicles based on the VIC500I.

The provided communication systems allow tactical dominance, better situational awareness and groundbreaking interoperability between combat vehicles and dismounted soldiers. The abovementioned systems allow voice, data and video communications in various scenarios.
