Rajak TBC DN-1 is a 'Created in India' product designed, developed & manufactured at Tata Power SED's Optronics Facility in Bangalore. While this gives impetus to Govt. of India's 'Make in India' campaign, it also provides end-user the facility to reduce the repair downtime substantially, as the entire maintenance and repair will be done in-house. Until now, our forces like Indian Army and BSF used to source the HHTls from abroad and the downtime between repairs could even be in years.

Tata Power SED's RAJAK-TBC DN-1 is an advanced Hand Held Thermal lmager meant for Long Range Day I Night Surveillance application. It combines multiple sensors such as Thermal lmager, Day Sensor, Digital Magnetic Compass and GPS Receiver, all in a single compact housing.

Rajak TBC DN-1 uses state of the art Cooled Thermal Imaging sensors with resolution 640 x 512 pixels @ pitch of 15µm and has the capability to detect vehicles at upto 9kms. Additional facilities like wirelessly transferring/ streaming day/ night imagery video to a ·console upto 5 kms, image/ video storage and Day/ Night Fusion substantially increase the surveillance & reconnaissance capability for soldiers. With the network link integrated it is a true force multiplier.

On receipt of the prestigious Order, Rahul Chaudhry, CEO of Tata Power SEO said that "Tata Power SEO is proud to make available this Third Generation, indigenously designed and manufactured sight to the Border Security Force and is looking forward to providing this latest technology to the Indian Army who's soldiers are burdened with older generation equipment. The new OPP 2016 has many provisions that encourage companies such as ours and we expect MoD to quickly implement their newly introduced /DOM procurement in letter & spirit and get this world class indigenous equipment in the hands of our soldiers."

Tata Power SEO has consistently advocated going beyond "Make in India" to "Create in India", with world-class Indigenous Products that not only create substantive self-reliance but also result in significant job creation. Rajak TBC DN-1 embodies this code.
