"The supplied equipment is based on modern SDR technologies (software-defined radio) and will replace previous-generation outdated Poisk and Zarevo communication complexes which are operational in the Russian army. One receiver unit of Antey can replace three old R-161PU (automated receiving units) by functionality," it said.

Antey can operate with all standard radio signals operational in the Russian armed forces both in stationary position and on the move. The SDR technologies and software-defined platform of the complex can regularly update the software of the radio center, add new functions and expand capabilities.
