The Cambli Black Wolf

Cambli displayed two scale models: The Black Wolf the latest vehicle designed by the Canadian company and the Thunder 2.
The Black Wolf ha been developped by Cambli, taking into account the remarks and feeback of customers. The Black Wolf is a light and fast multimission armoured vehicle. It can be used for many types of missions: Intervention vehicle, SWAT, Special Forces, Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC),... This vehicle has already been sold to undisclosed customer and is currently on production.

The Black Wolf is based on the new Ford F-550 chassis. The Canadian company chose this chassis for its capacities and its robustness and because the front axle of the 2017 F-550 can support a weight of 3,400 kg (7,500 lbs). Choosing an OEM chassis also reduces the maintenance costs of the vehicle. The Black Wolf is armoured with a lightweight high level ballistic steel. Unlike the Thunder 2, the Black Wolf is not armoured to level B7 and can be armoured up to level B6.

The Thunder 2 is a new generation military and law enforcement vehicle offering high level of mobility and maximum protection against small arms and IEDs blast threats. This Vehicle has been sold to police units in Canada and one North African country. The Thunder 2 has been especially designed for the Middle East and Africa. It can be operated in extreme climatic conditions, the Thunder 2 was tried and tested in 60°C temperatures, the triple AC (Air Conditioning) system kept inside temperatures around 20°C.
