The MANPADS "KUSZA" System is mounted on the off-road vehicle, Polaris Ranger 6x6, that enables to take a battle position in almost any terrain conditions. „KUSZA" (CROSSBOW) system can be integrated with various Command and Control Systems (e.g. REGA Air Defence Command and Control System) and with IFF Interrogation system, as well as with GPS positioning system and/or electronic compass.

The launcher unit is equipped with "fire and forget" type GROM MANPADS missiles and user friendly searching, tracking and missile launching system, when using onboard installed specialized visualization of engagement stage and aiming system.

GROM missiles are housed in standard launchers installed on rigid frame launcher holders, equipped with autonomous Gripstock and BCU (Battery Coolant Unit). Sight and communication systems are power supplied from high capacity platform Batteries or power supply Generator, what gives independence from external power supply for many hours of operational time. Light weight and well balanced user friendly construction makes easy to search, track and counter various aerial targets. Specialized rotating electrical connector in platform mount of „KUSZA" (CROSSBOW). Kusza launcher unit enables the system operator to engage in n x 360° mode. Simple small size and rugged construction allows also to relocate quickly the deployment position with the use of various transport platforms.
