Polish Defence Holding Anders vehicle new features at MSPO 2013
Obrum member of Polish Defence Holding presented its Anders platform at MSPO 2013. Fitted with Obrum Sensor Unit and Obrum Amur (Autonomous Rocket Weapon) System this platform can engage air and ground vehicles.

The Anders is a modular tracked platform (light tank, IFV) which is presented in its IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) form, capable of carrying 11 people (3 as crew) at MSPO 2013. Featuring a turret with only Spike missiles and the full version of the Amur System, the Anders show itself as a support vehicle. Powered by a MTU engine (diesel) and uses torsion bar suspensions.

The Amur System is composed of 2 distinct weapons: Spike missiles for ground targets and GROM missiles for aerial vehicles. Ammunitions are hidden in different parts of the Anders, both type of missiles are inside the crew compartment with reloading being made passing through a hatch located in the ceiling of the vehicle (Spike missiles need to be reloaded in the chassis). The Amur System need a 3 man crew to be operated efficiently.

Located under the turret, a new sensor unit the crew situtional awareness of their surroundings. Covering the front and both sides, allowing a nearly 180° coverage, the sensors acquire telemetry data which are then converted into a depth map. This sensor unit is built by Obrum.
