South Korea Defense industry at MSPO 2017 defense exhibition in Poland.


Since many years, the International Defense Industry Exhibition MSPO has been accompanied with lead-nation exhibitions. In previously lead-nation exhibitions featured: Norway, France, Italy, Turkey, Germany, Israel, the USA, Sweden, V4 Countries and the United Kingdom. For the edition 2017 of MSPO, South Korea is the guest nation of the event with more than 14 companies including Hanwha and LIG Nex1.

Fourteen companies of South Korean are in Poland to promote their defense and security products at the international defense exhibition MSPO.

"Poland is a key Central European country with which South Korea has a strategic partnership and is increasing defense ties," the South Korean ministry of defense said.

LIG Nex1 is considered a pioneer of introducing the Korean defense products to the global market. During the MSPO 2017, LIG Nex1 displays state-of-the-art products including precision guided munitions(PGM), software defined radio and other advanced defense solutions.

In particular, the European countries has shown keen interest in "Raybolt". which is currently being deployed to the Korean armed forces. LIG Nex1's 'Raybolt' is one of the latest 3rd generation Anti-tank Guided Missiles. Currently, LIG Nex1 is undergoing discussions with several countries to finalize the export of Raybolt.
