IWA 2016 latest innovations and technologies in the fields of security equipment and small weapons
IWA is an international trade fair which takes place every year in Nuremberg (Germany). This event is dedicated for hunting and shooting sports but many exhibitors have presented latest innovations and technologies in the fields of security equipment and small weapons.
     
     
Army Recognition has covered IWA 2016 with its Defense and Security Web TV in order to show new security equipment and small weapons displayed by exhibitors at this event.

The leading international trade fair for hunting and shooting sports, outdoor equipment and equipment for civilian and official security requirements is in its fifth decade of bringing together manufacturers and the specialist trade from all over the world – some 1,455 exhibitors (2015: 1,379) and about 43,000 trade visitors (2015: 41,748) from more than 120 nations have visited IWA 2016.

Exhibitors at IWA OutdoorClassics will display both proven and innovative products in three main segments – "Target Sports", "Nature Activities" and "Protecting People" – from hunting and sporting weapons to ammunition and optics, outdoor clothing, backpacks, knives and binoculars, and equipment for official use and self-defence.

This year, the international contingent was also exceptionally high, with eight out of ten exhibitors and almost two thirds of trade visitors travelling from other countries to the IWA OutdoorClassics in Nuremberg.Of the 56 countries represented at the event, Germany, the USA and Italy accounted for the highest number of exhibitors. The top ten countries in respect of visitor numbers were Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, France, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK and Switzerland. Specialist dealers from around 120 countries worldwide including the USA, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Namibia, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Brazil and Peru flocked to Nuremberg for this leading industry gathering.
