This UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) has been designed to carry on reconnaissance and combat missions, by day or night time, up to 800 meters from its operator.

The robot itself is composed of the vehicle and a remotely controlled weapon station (designated “remote controlled armament module” by the manufacturer) ZSMU. Two operators control the system: one pilots the vehicle to bring it to the best position relevant for the mission to be carried on, while the other is in charge of operating the weapon – a priori a machine gun – in close cooperation with the vehicle operator, thus adjusting the vehicle position to the assigned mission.

Driven by six electric motors, the 500kg robot can reach a maximum speed of 30 km/h and drive during 3 hours.

At MSPO, the weapon mounted on the robot was a 7.62mm machine gun but this weapon could be replaced by either a 5.56mm or 12.7mm one (no mention of, possibly, an antitank missile launcher). An ammo box of 300 rounds is foreseen for the 7.62mm machine gun (here, an FN MAG) but a 600-round box can be installed. The effective range is 800 meters beyond the 800m-range of the robot itself. Developments envisaged target the operation of a grenade launcher and a guided antitank missile launcher. The thermal imaging camera, two day-time cameras and laser range finder provide an optimal range of operationnality.
