Otokar presents new military vehicles at Eurosatory 2024.


At Eurosatory 2024, Otokar presented a comprehensive array of seven military vehicles, with three particularly notable platforms demonstrating significant advancements in military technology and vehicle design.

The first key platform is the Tulpar Multi-Purposed Tracked Vehicle. This vehicle was showcased with a 120 mm Leonardo turret, highlighting its adaptability and firepower. The Tulpar platform is engineered for a variety of operational roles, from reconnaissance missions to direct combat support. Its modular design allows for the integration of different weapon systems and mission-specific equipment, providing flexibility in various combat scenarios.

The second highlighted vehicle is the Alpar Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV). The Alpar UGV represents Otokar's foray into autonomous ground operations, emphasizing the role of unmanned systems in modern warfare. This vehicle is designed to undertake missions that are too hazardous for manned units, such as explosive ordnance disposal, reconnaissance in hostile environments, and logistical support in contested areas. Its autonomous navigation and decision-making capabilities are powered by advanced algorithms and sensor suites, ensuring operational effectiveness in dynamic and unpredictable conditions.

The most significant platform presented is the Arma II Wheeled Armored Vehicle, which was fitted with a Cockerill 105 mm turret. The Arma II is a state-of-the-art wheeled vehicle designed to balance mobility, protection, and firepower. The integration of the Cockerill 105 mm turret provides enhanced direct fire support and anti-armor capabilities, making it suitable for a wide range of combat roles. The vehicle's architecture allows for high tactical mobility in diverse terrains, facilitated by its advanced suspension system and powerful engine.
