The Burraq is an advanced unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) developed by a venture of PAF (Pakistani Air Force) and the NESCOM, a civilian defence research and development organisation.

Burraq UCAV can carry up to two laser-guided anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) serving a role much like American MQ-1 Predator UAV and AGM-114 Hellfire.

Marshal Farhat Hussain ( Aeronautical Complex Chief Air ) said that the production of drones was very important for country defense, and this shows the professional capabilities of Pakistan Army.

The Pakistan Navy also acquired rotorcraft drones from foreign sources while the Pakistan Army has been working to develop partnerships with China and has provided incentives to local manufacturers to continue developing advanced platforms within the country.

The Pakistani UAV program is one indicator of the potential of this country in the defense areas. The Burraq UCAV is an example of new military technology that Pakistan can provide for national and international defense and security markets.
