Serbian Military Technical Institute unveils its Pegasus multirole UAV at Partner 2021. Pegasus is a surveillance, intelligence and reconnaissance drone that can be armed with two missiles for strike missions.

In artillery support missions, Pegasus can designate targets with its laser device and assist artillerymen in fire adjustment. The UAV is also useful for damage effect assessment. It is equipped with an emergency « return home » system.

Pegasus is motorized by an air-cooled 2-stroke flat twin engine developing 52 hp (38 kW). The drone weighs 120 kg (empty) and can carry a payload of up to 50kg. The maximum takeoff weight is 245 kg. Maximum speed: 180 km/h. Cruising speed: 130-150 km/h. Wingspan: 7.025m. Length: 5.395m. The maximum operational altitude ranges from 2,000 to 3,000 meters, with a flight endurance of 6 to 10 hours and an operational radius of about 100 km. The takeoff and landing phases are carried on autonomously from a prepared runway.
