The design of the Milosh 4x4 is based on a monocoque hull and a new type of 4x4 chassis, fully designed, developed and manufactured in Serbia by Yugoimport. The standard version of the Milosh 4x4 can accommodate 8 soldiers including driver and commander, with 4 seats at the front, and 4 seats at the rear located on each side of the hull. At the front of the vehicle are two large forward-opening doors with bulletproof windows in its upper part. On each side of the troop compartment are 2 rectangular bulletproof windows with a firing port in the lower part.

The infantrymen enter and leave the Milosh via a power-operated ramp in the rear of the hull that opens downwards including a manual door that can be used in case of power failure. This door is also equipped with one bulletproof window and a firing port.

The hull is made on steel armor that offers ballistic protection Level 3 (STANAG 4569 Level 3 against the firing of small arms 7.62x51mm AP (Armor Piercing) on the front and Level 2 (STANAG 4569 Level 2 7.62×39mm API BZ at 30 meters with 695 m/s) on sides and rear part of the vehicle. It also has a mine blast protection Level 2a/2b (STANAG 4569 Level 2 blast explosion 6Kg of TNT under the wheels). The protection of the Milosh can be further increased with modular additional armor specially designed to provide fast replacement of damaged plates in field conditions and offering different types of armor levels depending on the threats of the mission.

The Milosh 4x4 multi-purpose armored vehicle is motorized with a Cummins ISB 300 diesel engine developing 300 hp at 2,500 rpm coupled to an Allison 3500SP automatic transmission with 6 forward and 1 reverse gears. The vehicle has independent suspension and hydraulic shock absorbers. Milosh 4x4 can reach110 km/h on hard surfaces. It is able to climb forward slopes up to 60%, side slopes of 30%. It has a fording depth capability of 1 meter without preparation. It can cross trenches up to 0,9 meter and have a turning radius of 9 meters.

Milosh 4x4 weighs 12 tons when empty and has a maximum payload of 2 tons. The Milosh is 5.45 m long, 2.51 m wide and 2.30 m high.

The Nova 145mm antitank guided missiles include a 6.4kg shaped charge, having an 8km range. They are claimed to be able to penetrate at least 1 meter of rolled homogeneous armor (RHA) with explosive reactive armor (ERA). The 28kg modernized NSV 12.7mm machine gun can fire more than 600 rounds/minute.
