The event of the day, called "King's Challenge Event" consists of a long-distance off-road running through the mountainous landscape of KASOTC camp. At the beginning of the exercise, all the teams receive a short briefing about the event and the team leader must quickly take decisions to manage the run and select members based on the actions to be achieved during the exercise.

Indeed, at the beginning of the exercise, the 5 members of the team climb a mountain which is followed by a run where a team member is carried by others.

During around 45 minutes, the team members run through the KASOTC camp carrying big tire, heavy box, sandbag or water can. Of course, during this run the team also perform several types of scenarios crossing different types of obstacles followed by the use of individual weapons as sniper rifle, assault rifle or automatic pistol in order to show their ability to be accurate after an high physical effort.

This latest event is tailored to test in on single exercise the endurance, perseverance, team work, warrior fighting spirit and physical ability of the teams.
