VHF R-168-25UE vehicular radio set provides radio communication in tactical radio networks of regiment-battalion-company level.

The Radio Plant in Ryazan is engaged in communications system production within Roselectronika.

'The AVSKU software and hardware appliance ensures internal exchange of information between crewmembers and can also access external communications through radio and satellite communication stations. Multifunctional R-168-25UE-2 radio stations are designated for open and masked communications on moderately rugged terrain. The digital radio stations operate in frequency retuning regime, are highly protected from jamming and sustainable against radio-electronic warfare. The equipment can uninterruptedly operate in harsh climatic conditions, sustain heavy shocks and vibration and is immune to sand and moisture," it said.

To ensure electromagnetic compatibility in limited space and compact placing of radio-electronic devices within the combat vehicle experts of the Radio Plant in Ryazan properly arranged the antennas and designed a unique set of cables and jamming filters. BMD-4M tests confirmed the electromagnetic compatibility problem has been fully resolved and the vehicle has high-quality and reliable communications at the assigned range.
