A scale model of the 2S41 Drok was unveiled during this defense exhibition. According our first analysis of the picture released on the Russian website soyuzmash.ru, the vehicle is based on the new 4x4 armoured vehicle K4386 which was developed for the Russian airborne troops.

The 2S41 seems to be fitted with a remotely operated weapon station mounted on the roof of the vehicle, and according to the first description of the vehicle, it is armed with a 82mm mortar and one 7.62mm mounted coaxially to the main armament. Two smoke-grenade dischargers are mounted on each side at the rear of the turret.

The K4386 is a 4x4 armoured vehicle designed and manufactured by the Russian Defense Companies JSC “Plant of special vehicles” and Kamaz. The engine is at the front of the vehicle with the crew members being seated in the centre. There is one single door on each side of the vehicle with one small bulletproof window in the upper part and two large windows at the front as bulletproof windscreen.
