World Defense Show 2022: Opticolectron from Bulgaria unveils OE Nirecon NVG night vision goggles.

Bulgarian company Optielectron unveils a new product that enriches its already wide range of goggles and scopes. This more than 50-years-old manufacturer is highly specialized in optomechanical, optoelectronic and laser devices and systems for defense and security, among other domains.

Over 97% of the total production is exported to EU countries, North America and the Middle East. Optoelectronic Group JSC has obtained a Certificate for Registry in the field of international relations NATO-Secret and a certificate for access to operate with state classified information. The company also has a status of supplier for U.S. Government – DUNS Registration. Key defense products are anti-aircraft and ground artillery sights for firing in daytime and nighttime; day, night and thermal optical sights; SWIR lense; laser range finders; laser target designators; optical systems for armored vehicles; video observation and surveillance systems.

OE Nirecon Night Vision Goggles, the new product showcased at World Defense Show 2022, are among the smallest and lightest night vision goggles ever produced. Their unique design makes them comfortable and easy to use, whilst retaining a high-performance night vision capability.

Their main features are:
– Built-in IR illuminator;
– Indication of work of the IR Illuminator;
– Low voltage battery indicator;
– Headgear;
– Extremely low weight;
– Color – Matt black;
– Reverse polarity protection for the batteries;
– Automatic brightness control;
– Auto-shutdown function;
– 9 mm exit pupil diameter;
– Fast recovery from bright images.
