Pearson Engineering will promote their mine-sweepers like the RORS for fast clearance of all surface mines from airfields and other large areas.
The Pearson Rapid Ordnance Removal System (RORS) is a development of the SMP. The RORS uses a straight-angled 18 segment blade (22 or 24 segment versions are available) preceded by a forward mine disturber system. Mines and other surface debris are cleared to one side so that by repeated passages, a large area can be rapidly cleared. As with the SMP, the RORS requires no power while operating and can be fitted to a wide range of vehicles with little modification.
