2nd Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition & Conference from 27 to 30 September 2016.
From the 27 to 30 September, Azerbaijan will organized the 2nd International Defense Exhibition and Conference in Baku. ADEX defense exhibition is a new impetus to international cooperation in this area and is a unique platform for meetings and negotiations between major buyers and suppliers from the defense and security industry.
     
     
ADEX 2016 will be held from 27 to 30 September 2016 in Baku, Azerbaijan, and get a unique platform for the development of strategic partnerships within the rapidly emerging markets of the Caucasus, Central Asia, the CIS and the Middle East.

In 2014, ADEX welcomed 200 companies from 34 countries and 8 national groups from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Korea, Poland, Israel and Ukraine had set up their displays at the exhibition.

In recent years, state investment activity has notably moved towards developing the domestic defence industry.
 

Azerbaijan’s government has assigned the issue of localizing production of staple military hardware as a strategic development matter for the coming decades. This has been confirmed by state investment programmes aimed at developing domestic military production over this period, primarily the establishment of the Ministry of Defence Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan by Ilham Aliyev’s Presidential order on 16 December 2005.
