ADEX 2016: Poly Defence exhibits its new HZ 51M mechanized bridge
|

|
The Chinese defense company Poly Defence presents a new type of mechanized bridge here in Baku, during this 2nd edition of ADEX exhibition. The HZ 51M fast mechanized bridge is a set of military equipment already in active service in “several different countries, including China”, a representative of Poly Defence told Army Recognition.

The HZ 51M complete set is composed of one erection vehicle and six transportation vehicles.
The bridge is 17 – 51 m long, 4 m wide and features a high-speed deployment capability ensure all sorts of vehicles with a tracked load of up to 55 tons or an axle load of up to 13 tons to rapidly cross any obstacle. The erection and retrieval time of a complete 51 m-long bridge is 60 min. The design using longevity is 10 000 times, according to Poly Defence information. The whole system can be loaded by a crew of 3-4 men and operates at temperature from -41°C to + 50°C. |
