At AirShow China 2018, being held from 6 to 11 November in Zhuhai, the local company JIangsu Hezheng Special Equipment Co., Ltd. is presenting for the first time a unique design of Unmanned Ground Vehicle called "Jiehu Unmanned High Motor Platform".

The Jiehu unmanned high motor platform features autonomous, remote controlled operation capability. It has been designed for surveillance, reconnaissance, cargo, fire support, or medevac missions.

Thanks to its 1.2 tons payload capability, it can carry a various range of mission modules, such as EO/IR cameras, radar, laser rangefinder, ultrasonic radar, cargo, remote-controled weapon station, etc. In IR mode, it detects medium size vehicles at up to 10 km, or an individual at up to 4 km. In visible mode, the vehicle can detect vehicles at up to 15 km, individual at up to 6 km. The laser rangefinder system has an maximum detection range of 15 km.

The RCWS module can be armed with either 12.7 mm HMG, 5.56 mm or 7.62 mm machine guns, or 40 mm automatic grenade launcher.

The vehicle weighs 2850 kg, is 4800 mm long, 2300 mm large and 2050 mm high. It has a maximum speed of 120 km/h on road. Its impressive wheels have a diameter of 1.92 m.
