The press-service of the Russian Ministry of Defence has announced that new models of military equipment would be displayed during the Victory Day parade on Red Square in Moscow. Thus, on May 9, one will be able to take a look at state-of-the-art anti-aircraft missile complexes Tor-M2U and anti-tank missile systems BMP-3 Khrizantema-S.

Tor-M2U has already been put into service in a number of military units. The system can destroy cruise missiles, air reconnaissance and electronic warfare equipment.

BMP-3 Khrizantema-S is capable of striking modern tanks of any level, as well as low-tonnage ships, hovercraft and low-flying air targets.

About 11,000 troops will take part in the Victory Parade in Moscow on May 9th, including about a hundred pieces of military equipment. Military vehicles, such as Tigr, Typhoon-K 6x6 armoured vehicle personnel carrier, BTR-82A, T-90A tanks, self-propelled howitzers 2S19 MSTA-S, anti-aircraft missile systems Buk-M2, anti-aircraft missile and gun complexes Pantsir-S1, antiaircraft missile systems S-400, short-range tactical missile Iskander-M, as well as Topol-M will roll on the cobblestones of Red Square on May 9th at 10:00 a.m.

Since the beginning of this month, the full rehearsal started at the training center at Alabino, Moscow Oblast. The parade preparations started for all the units as the mobile column of more than a hundred military vehicles finished up their practice runs on the field.
