Ukraine and Turkey sign MoU for the production a passive radar
Ukroboronprom and Havelsan signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 8 April, for the joint development and production of new passive radar. The new system will be capable of detecting sea and air targets at distances up to 600 km.

The MoU will allow the companies to benefit from their extensive capabilities. Moreover, the two companies have agreed to continue their cooperation in advanced aerospace projects and satellite technology.

Ukronboronprom will also have the opportunity to develop a product according to international and NATO standards, and deepen the military-technical cooperation with the Alliance. This is one of the Ukrainian State Concern’s priorities, according to its Director General Roman Romanov.

HAVELSAN is a Turkish Armed Forces Foundation company, specializing in the development of software for C2 systems, of simulators, weapons control and intelligence systems.
