| UralVagonZavod to deliver T-15 infantry fighting vehicles to Russian Defense Ministry | |||

Russia’s Uralvagonzavod armor producer has signed a long-term contract with the Russian Defense Ministry for the delivery of T-15 heavy infantry fighting vehicles, Head of the Defense Ministry’s Defense Procurement Department Colonel Mikhail Osyko said on Monday, April 25.

The T-15 infantry fighting vehicle is based on the Armata heavy tracked standardized combat platform, he added.
"A long-term state contract for the delivery of T-15 infantry fighting vehicles has been signed with Uralvagonzavod," Osyko said in an interview with Russian News Service radio station. It was reported earlier that the Russian Defense Ministry had purchased 100 advanced T-14 tanks based on the Armata heavy tracked standardized combat platform. The T-14 tanks are currently undergoing operational evaluation. |
