Tankmen of the Southern Military District demonstrated the combat capabilities of arms and military hardware, including a T-72B3M tank, at the Kadamovsky range near Novocherkassk on the sidelines of the Army-2018 Technical Forum.

Servicemen of the Southern Military District staged the most large-scale and spectacular event at the Kadamovsky range in the Rostov region on August 24-26. More than 300 pieces of modern arms and military hardware were demonstrated in tactical episodes of modern warfare.

The tanks and artillery units trained mobile defense maneuvers. The motorized units used infantry fighting vehicles (IFV) and armored personnel carriers (APC) to breach enemy defense by using flanking movement and an envelopment maneuver. Reconnaissance units and special operations forces also demonstrated their combat skills. The spectators had a chance to see how modern armored vehicles overcome difficult barriers and how a reconnaissance patrol destroys an adversary ambush.
