Russia has delivered free S-300 Air Defense Systems to Kazakhstan
According to Russia's Defense Ministry, Russia delivered S-300 air defense systems to Kazakhstan free of charge.

The contract on free deliveries of Russian S-300 air defense systems to Kazakhstan is fulfilled, Russia's Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Wednesday.

"We have completed the project on free of charge S-300 air defense system deliveries to Kazakhstan," Shoigu said at a meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Imangali Tasmagambetov.

Imangali Tasmagambetov, the Kazakh Defense Minister Imangali Tasmagambetov and his Russian counterpart, Sergey Shoigu, have signed an agreement to expand the technical and military cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan. “We have signed an agreement that opens new areas for future work in the field of technical-military cooperation,” Tasmagambetov said after his meeting with Shoigu Tuesday.

The S-300 is a Russian-made anti-ballistic missile system designed and manufactured by the Company Almaz-Antey.
